The injector is then inserted so that it is in contact with the windcreen & the UV Resin is injected partially into the chipped or cracked automobiles glass wind shield.

Once we are happy that the cavity has been filled to our high standards, we then add a pit-fill resin over the top of the area already vacuumed and filled with UV Resin then cover the applied pit-filling resin with a plastic patch and cure the treated area using a UV Light/ Lamp. Any excess pit fill resin is then gently removed using a razor blade

How We Repair Your Cracked/ Chipped Windscreen

  1. First, the damaged area of the vehicles windshield is drilled out & the "repair bridge" is attached.

  2. The injector is then inserted so that it is in contact with the windcreen & the UV Resin is injected partially into the chipped/ cracked automobiles glass wind shield.

The "plunger" is then inserted by screwing down the piston, which forces the resin down, in turn, forcing any trapped air bubbles upwards & out of the crack/ stone chip, thus creating a vacumm effect which allows more ultra violet resin to be injected into the damaged auto glass and ensuring that the affected area is air-tight.

This process is repeated several times until we are absolutely certain that the damaged chip/ crack has been completely filled with UV Resin, and that there is no air trapped (which can cause unsightly air bubbles, and in-turn, can be hazardous if it distracts you whilst you are driving. Some companies operate a standard, everyday practice which leaves winshield repairs poorly finished to this standard.)
